“YEDINY KVARTAL” IN KYIV

BIG CONCERT TELEVISION RECORDING

On May 1 at 6 p.m., the National Palace of Arts “Ukraine” will once again become a place where laughter is bo. “Yediny Kvartal” invites viewers to the television recording of a new concert..

On stage — a completely new program: sharp jokes about our present, favorite political satire, unexpected parodies, and sincere musical numbers from the actors of “Yedyny Kvartal.” In addition, viewers will be treated to musical surprises from the stars of Ukrainian show business.

But these concerts are not just about laughter. The Yedyny Kvartal team constantly supports Ukrainian defenders: it performs for the military and helps with necessary equipment and supplies, from cars and drones to ATVs, thermal imagers, electronic warfare systems, and radios.

In the chamber space of the Teatroom Palace «Ukraine» may 23 — performance «Queen of Beauty» — black comedy with elements of psychological drama that will not leave indifferent.

The play deals with themes of emotional dependence, loneliness, inner captivity and attempts to break out of the closed circle of everyday life. The production was performed by Pavlo Shpegun —, a Ukrainian actor and director, a representative of a new generation of Ukrainian theater artists. Since 2018, Pavlo has been an actor at the Ivan Franko National Academic Drama Theater in Kyiv.

STAR MANIFESTO RETURNS TO THE UKRAINE PALACE

On May 30, we invite you to the large-scale variety and circus graduation show “Star Manifesto” — a spectacular stage project that combines circus performances, variety shows, and elements of theatrical performance.

Star Manifesto is the final creative event of the year for students of the Kyiv Municipal Academy of Variety and Circus Arts. It is a grand stage event in which young artists demonstrate the results of their work and professional development.

During a night storm in a village, a jug is broken — a seemingly mundane event, but it ends up in court. The judge, witnesses, and victims are all gathered to determine who is at fault. But the longer the hearing goes on, the more confusing the story becomes, and the truth itself becomes less and less convenient for those present. At the center is an absurd investigation that gradually reveals not only the mystery of one jug, but also deeper cracks in people, in the system, and in the concept of justice.

On August 21, meet the world-famous Pavlo Virsky National Academic Dance Ensemble of Ukraine with a festive concert dedicated to Ukraine's Independence Day on the country's main stage at the Ukraine Palace!
