OFFICIAL RULES FOR VISITORS TO THE UKRAINE PALACE

Meaning of terms used:

  • Administration - Officials of the State Enterprise “National Palace of Arts ”Ukraine."

  • Visitor An individual who has arrived at the Palace “Ukraine” with a Ticket to attend the Event.

  • Auditorium - Small Hall and/or Grand Hall of the Ukraine Palace.

  • Ticket - a document in the form of an invitation, accreditation, or an organized set of data confirming the right to a one-time visit to the Event.

  • Event - performances, concerts, shows, and other entertainment or cultural and educational events, forums, etc.

  • Organizer - a business entity that carries out activities related to the organization and conduct of the Event.

  • Palace “Ukraine” - State Enterprise “National Palace of Arts ”Ukraine", Kyiv, 103 Velyka Vasylkivska Street.

  • Security and protection service - a licensed security structure engaged by the Administration or the Organizer to conduct the Event.

General provisions

These rules have been approved with the aim of improving the organization, preparation, and conduct of the Event, ensuring public order and the safety of Event Visitors, and defining the rules of conduct for Visitors to the Ukraine Palace.

The rules of conduct govern the relations between the Visitor, the Administration of the Ukraine Palace, the Event Organizer, and the Security and Protection Service that arise when visiting the Event at the Ukraine Palace. They are an integral part of the agreement concluded between the Organizer and the Visitor regarding the purchase of a Ticket.

1.1.Attendance at the Event is voluntary, and the Visitor assumes all risks associated with being at the Event.

1.2.When purchasing and/or receiving a Ticket, the Visitor agrees:

  • purchased ticket is not exchangeable or refundable.
  • refund of the ticket price by the event organizer is possible only if the event is canceled.
  • to comply with these Rules, to participate in possible photo, video, TV, radio broadcast of the Event, allows the Administration, the Organizer to use photo, video, audio recordings with his participation for advertising purposes;
  • to monitor information about possible changes in the place, date and time of the Event;
  • that the responsibility for visiting the Event on the specified day, place and time, in case of timely notification of a change in the place, postponement of the date and time of its holding, is placed on the Visitor;
  • with the right of the Administration and/or the Organizer, or the Security and Protection Service to deny admission to the Palace “Ukraine” in case of violation of the Rules without reimbursement of the cost of the Ticket;
  • with the right of the Administration and/or the Organizer, or the Security and Protection Service to force him to leave the Event in case of violation of the Rules without reimbursement of the Ticket price, and in cases of committing illegal actions – to be held administratively or criminally liable in accordance with the current legislation of Ukraine;
  • in order to avoid stressful situations before the start of the Event in order to save time during ticket control and personal inspection, to arrive at the Event in advance.
Rules for visitors attending the event

2.1.Visitors may only enter the event with tickets approved by the event organizer and the administration.

2.2.The doors to the auditorium of the Ukraine Palace open one hour before the start of the event, and the auditorium itself opens 30 minutes before the start of the event.

2.3.Entry to the Ukraine Palace is only permitted through a security checkpoint equipped with special technical means.

2.4.Visitors who use pacemakers or other electronic devices to maintain vital functions must inform the security and safety service staff of this before passing through the security checkpoint.

2.5.Tickets are valid for one person regardless of the visitor’s age.

2.6.Admission for children under 4 years of age without a separate seat is free.

2.7.Children under 12 years of age may only enter the Ukraine Palace if accompanied by adults, each of whom must have a separate ticket.

2.8.Visitors must take their seats in accordance with their tickets.

2.9.Tickets must be kept until the end of the Event and presented at the first request of a representative of the Administration, Organizer, Security and Safety Service.

2.10.The Organizer will not consider any claims regarding counterfeit tickets.

2.11. If the Visitor needs to leave the Event during its holding and return later, he is obliged to contact the official representatives of the Organizer of the Event in order to obtain an additional pass, which will allow him to return to the Event. In this case, entry to the Auditorium is carried out in accordance with clause 2.14. of these Rules.

2.12. If the Visitor leaves the Event and does not receive an additional pass, he will not be allowed to enter the Event.

2.13. If the Visitor is late for the start of the Event, entry to the Auditorium is carried out exclusively during breaks/intermissions. In this case, the cost of the Ticket for the missed part of the Event is not reimbursed.

2.14. Visitors undertake to leave the territory of the Palace “Ukraine” within 30 minutes after the end of the Event, or within the time specified by the Administration.

Rules of Conduct for Visitors to the Ukraine Palace

3.1.Visitors are required to behave calmly inside the Ukraine Palace and not to make excessive noise or commotion.

3.2.Upon entering the auditorium of the Ukraine Palace, all mobile communication devices must be turned off or set to silent mode for the duration of the Event.

3.3.In the event of the use and/or distribution of narcotic/psychotropic/toxic substances, or the abuse of alcoholic beverages on the premises of the Event, manifestations of aggression by the Visitor towards other persons, disturbance of public peace, etc., official representatives of the Administration, Organizers, security and safety services have the right to force the Visitor to leave the Event without the right to return or refund the cost of the Ticket.

Visitors to the Ukraine Palace are prohibited from

4.1. Entering the auditorium with ice cream.

4.2. Entering the auditorium wearing outer clothing.

4.3. Bring items, substances, firearms, and cold weapons, special devices (gas canisters, stun guns, etc.), sharp, cutting, large items (exceeding 25x25x25 cm in size), as well as other items that can be used to cause bodily harm, pyrotechnic products, explosive, radioactive, flammable, poisonous, and corrosive substances and items with an unpleasant odor, laser pointers, any aerosols and beverages in any containers, alcoholic beverages, and food.

4.4.Bring animals to the event.

4.5.Smoking in areas not designated for this purpose. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the Ukraine Palace.

4.6.Drinking alcoholic beverages or beer in areas not designated for this purpose, appearing in public places in a state of alcohol, drug, or toxic intoxication, or in a manner that offends human dignity.

4.7.Throwing foreign objects, including pyrotechnic devices, onto the stage of the auditorium and other places where the Event is held, as well as performing other actions that violate the order of the Event.

4.8.Allowing shouts or other actions that humiliate the human dignity of the participants of the Event or Visitors.

4.9.Stay in the aisles, on the stairs, or in evacuation areas during the Event, obstruct the movement of Event participants, climb on fences, railings, lighting devices, or sound amplification equipment platforms.

4.10. Enter the stage, as well as other service and technical premises, without the permission of the Administration, the Organizer of the Event, the Security and Protection Service.

4.11. Carry out trade, apply inscriptions, post and distribute advertisements, posters and other informational products without the written permission of the Administration, the Organizer of the Event.

4.12. Wear, display signs or other symbols aimed at inciting racial, social, national and religious hatred.

4.13. Conduct photo and/or video shooting without the permission of the Administration, the Organizer of the Event.

Ticket Refunds

5.1.Ticket refunds are carried out exclusively by the Organizer, in cases specified by the current legislation of Ukraine.

The Administration and the Organizer shall not be liable

6.1.For damage caused to Visitors due to their negligence, as a result of their violation of safety, fire safety, and these Rules.

6.2.For damage related to deterioration of health if the Visitor’s health deteriorated as a result of an acute illness, exacerbation of an injury, or a chronic illness that the Visitor had prior to attending the Event.

6.3.For items lost by the Visitor while attending the Event.

6.4.For counterfeit Tickets and Tickets purchased from unofficial distributors.

Rights of the Administration, Organizer, Security and Safety Services:

  • To inspect Visitors in order to ensure safety and prevent prohibited items from being brought into the Ukraine Palace.
Refusal of a Visitor to attend an Event

7.1.Refuse the Visitor access to the Event (without compensation for the Ticket price) on the following grounds:

  • if the Visitor refuses to undergo inspection;
  • if the Visitor violates these Rules;
  • if the Visitor disobeys the lawful demands of the Administration, the Organizer, law enforcement officers, security and safety services;
  • if the Visitor is found to be in a state of alcoholic, narcotic, or toxic intoxication, in a manner that offends human dignity;
  • if the Visitor arrives at the Event in untidy, dirty clothing and/or clothing with an unpleasant odor;
  • if the Visitor behaves inappropriately or aggressively.

7.2.To stop the Event in case of emergencies or circumstances, threats to the health and life of Visitors, threats of material damage to the property of the Administration or the Organizer.

7.3.To delay the start of the Event if additional security measures are necessary, without compensating the cost of the Ticket.

7.4. The items specified in clause 4.3. of the Rules shall be confiscated by the Security and Safety Service employees and returned to Visitors after the Event. If the Visitor refuses to hand over the items specified in clause 4.3 of the Rules, which are prohibited on the territory of the Ukraine Palace, to the security and safety service employees, the Visitor will not be admitted to the Event without compensation for the cost of the Ticket.

7.5.Force the Visitor to leave the Event and the territory of the Ukraine Palace without the right to return or reimbursement of the Ticket price in case of use and/or distribution of narcotic, toxic, psychotropic substances, alcohol abuse.

Visiting the Ukraine Palace for people with disabilities

Dear audience, we are pleased to announce that the Ukraine Palace has created the necessary conditions for people with disabilities who use wheelchairs to enjoy a comfortable and convenient stay during cultural and artistic events.

STEP 1. How to purchase tickets

In the stalls of the Great Hall, we have set up 12 seats for people with disabilities who use wheelchairs in row 17. For convenience, these seats are marked in blue on the hall layout. Tickets for accompanying persons can be purchased in row 18. These seats are marked in purple on the hall diagram.

In the TEATROOM hall, seat No. 21 in row No. 1 is equipped for people with disabilities who use wheelchairs and is marked in blue on the hall diagram. Tickets for accompanying persons can be purchased in row No. 2, seat No. 21. These seats are marked in orange on the hall diagram.

To ensure that seats for people with disabilities are available in a timely manner, tickets must be purchased in advance, but no later than 24 hours before the start of the event. Information on the availability of seats can be obtained at the box office and on the official website of the Ukraine Palace, as well as on the websites of ticket operators.

The organizer reserves the right to open general sales for the above-mentioned seats 24 hours before the start of the event.

Rules of conduct in case of a crowd or fire
  • Never go against the flow of people.
  • Stay close to the edge, beware of handrails, corners, and steps.
  • If you drop something (a bag, jacket, or umbrella), do not try to pick it up—it could cost you your life.
  • Do not take any active action in a crowd.
  • If you fall, immediately cover your head with your hands and try to get up quickly.
  • If you smell smoke or notice other signs that could lead to a sudden fire, immediately notify the Security and Safety Service or other employees of the Ukraine Palace.
  • During a fire, try to remain calm and listen carefully to the instructions of the Administration, Organizer, Security and Safety Service representatives.
  • If you find any suspicious objects, report them to the Administration, Organizer, Security and Safety Service representatives. Do not try to examine a suspicious object yourself.
