This winter, a true fairy tale unfolded at the Ukraine Palace.

From December 25 to January 10, performances of “The Tale of the 12 Months” were a huge success. Nearly 60,000 audience members in the hall, sold-out shows, and additional dates due to high demand. The production then went on tour to Lviv and Dnipro, where it was just as warmly received by audiences.

This is a special project for us. It is the first major New Year’s production since the start of the full-scale war. The last time such fairy tales were performed was back in 2021–2022. And we truly appreciate that we were able to revive this tradition.

It was important to us not just to create an event—we wanted to give people a sense of celebration during these difficult times. It was an honor for the Ukraine Palace to welcome among its guests military personnel from various units and their families, the families of fallen heroes and those held captive, medical workers, rescuers, border guards, police officers, State Emergency Service employees, as well as children from social and psychological rehabilitation centers—everyone who works daily for the benefit of others or needs special support.

This fairy tale brought together thousands of families, guests from different cities, international partners, and friends of the Palace. And we are overjoyed that it has continued on tour across Ukraine.

Thank you to everyone who stood by us this winter. We look forward to the day when “The Tale of the 12 Months” returns to audiences once again.
