The premiere of the play “My Jewish Soul” took place on the stage of the Teatroom chamber hall of the National Palace of Arts “Ukraine.”
This is the third premiere in the “My Ukraine” project series. ❤️
This play is about the inseparable connection between Ukrainian and Jewish cultures. It is a unique musical project unlike any other, in which director Katya Tsarik masterfully combines pain and joy — what Ukrainians and Jews once felt and still feel today. The histories of these two great nations are so intertwined, and that is what gives this performance its special meaning today!
This musical project is a major work by the talented composer and arranger Dmytro Saratsky, the wonderful singers Anna and Angelina Zavalsky, and the unsurpassed acting of Volodymyr Dantes.
During these three days, at our invitation, the concert was attended by military personnel and their families, employees of the State Emergency Service, and, very importantly for us, the families of the Righteous of Babyn Yar!
The best reward for the team was the tears and smiles of the audience, who gave our premiere a standing ovation!
The next performances will take place on October 29 and 30!
