How can I not love you, my Kyiv?
Yesterday, the long-awaited premiere of the play “My Kyiv” took place on the stage of the TEATROOM chamber hall of the National Palace of Arts “Ukraine”!
The unforgettable atmosphere of the evening was created by incredible performers—Dmytro Kadnay and Pylyp Kolyadenko—the band Kadnay, as well as the best vocalists of Ukraine—the soloists of “Women’s Quarter”—the charismatic Marta Adamchuk, Vira Kekelia, Elina Mban and Lali Ergemlidze.
The well-known and familiar songs performed by the artists sounded very modern and stylish thanks to the arrangements created under the musical direction of the brilliant composer Dmytro Saratsky. It was a true declaration of love for our charming and at the same time indestructible Kyiv, a musical excursion through the beautiful city, brilliantly conducted by the director of the performance, Kateryna Tsaryk.
Unexpectedly for everyone, the evening was attended by star guests: People’s Artist of Ukraine, National Legend, Hero of Ukraine, our favorite poet Yuriy Rybchynskyi, super artist MONATIK, star director Alan Badoev, the beautiful soloists of the performance “My Jewish Soul,” the Zavalski sisters Anna and Angelina, and the flamboyant and charismatic choreographer and showman Dmytro Kolyadenko, who came to support his son Pylyp Kolyadenko in the performance.
The audience’s thunderous applause, shouts of “bravo” and ‘encore’ were the main reward for all the artists and creators of the show! It is very symbolic that the premiere of the project “My Ukraine” coincided with an important date – the Day of Defenders of Ukraine! That is why the evening “My Kyiv” and the performances of the artists were dedicated to our heroes – the soldiers who are defending our country right now on the front lines!
