Despite the difficult times, alarming news, and the threat of shelling, the team at the Ukraine Palace decided to take a risk and organize an incredible concert by the legendary Ukrainian singer and People’s Artist of Ukraine Oksana Bilozir to mark the 45th anniversary of her creative career!
And, despite all the difficulties, we managed to create a real celebration of Ukrainian song. We are grateful to Oksana Volodymyrivna for her incredible creativity, patriotism, and courage.
No matter how difficult it is for all of us, it is so important now to experience pleasant emotions and distract ourselves from the harsh reality for at least a few hours. Our decision was the right one, because the result of the concert exceeded all expectations—it was a real sell-out, a packed hall full of happy spectators. It was especially important for us to invite military personnel and medical workers to the concert, those people who selflessly defend our country from the enemy every day and save millions of lives.
It was nice to see the third President of Ukraine, Viktor Yushchenko, and his wife among the audience.
We are sincerely grateful to all the artists who took part in the concert! Namely: Pavlo Zibrov, Viktor Pavlik, Anatoliy Govoradlo and the band “Svitiaz”, the Armed Forces Ensemble, the “Pulse” Ensemble, the ‘Ukraine’ Ensemble, and the band “Meri”.
We are also sincerely grateful to all the authors who wrote these beautiful songs!
