A special musical evening took place on the stage of the National Palace of Arts “Ukraine”—a concert by the world-renowned Ukrainian soprano Lyudmila Monastyrska, accompanied by the symphony orchestra and choir of the Taras Shevchenko National Opera of Ukraine.
The program featured works by Mozart, Bellini, Mascagni, Bizet, Verdi, Puccini, and Schubert, performed by People’s Artist of Ukraine Lyudmila Monastyrska, Honored Artist of Ukraine Vitaliy Bilyi, Vlad Sytnik, and David Axelrod.
At the conductor’s podium was People’s Artist of Ukraine and world-renowned maestro Mykola Dyadyura.
Among the guests in the packed hall of the “Ukraine” Palace were foreign ambassadors, political and public figures, prominent cultural figures, and our special guests—military personnel and doctors. Thanks to the magnificent music, they received a powerful emotional boost and the opportunity to escape, if only for a short time, from the hardships of the present.
We are convinced that culture is what helps society endure, inspires, and unites people.
