The traditional New Year’s project of the National Academic Orchestra of Folk Instruments of Ukraine on the main stage of the country!

On December 31, 2025, the National Palace “Ukraine” will host the traditional annual concert “Five Hours Before New Year,” which, according to European tradition, symbolizes the beginning of the New Year and attracts the attention of thousands of listeners.

The National Academic Orchestra of Folk Instruments of Ukraine, conducted by chief conductor and People’s Artist of Ukraine Viktor Hutsal, will present a fantastic gift to Kyiv residents and guests of the city. The concert program will feature works by European composers and the best hits of the NAONI orchestra!

Guests of the event will also be able to see out the old year in pleasant company with a glass of champagne before the concert begins. Experience the unique atmosphere of New Year’s Eve together with the artists of NAONI!

About the NAONI Orchestra:

– 65 virtuoso musicians who are professionally proficient in several musical instruments

– more than 40 types of traditional and rare folk instruments

– over 2,500 works of various genres by Ukrainian and foreign authors

The orchestra has performed over 3,000 concerts on all continents, as well as at international art festivals, the opening and final concert of Eurovision in Kyiv together with the band ONUKA, and seven victories in the Battle of the Orchestras project in Ukraine and abroad. It has successfully presented concert programs with such well-known Ukrainian performers as ONUKA, Oleg Skrypka, Jamala, Artem Pivovarov, the bands Druga Rika, Mad Heads, KozakSystem, and others.
